When the world was no longer round!

When we were kids we often hear from parents, and friends that the earth is round. Yes, the theory is true. Especially with the technology such as satellites, now we can proved that the world is round.



Actually with the philosophy Aristoteles, an implicit states that the earth is round. It's just that the Europeans didn’t believe it if they not proved itself.

Eventually Columbus who previously have trust is the earth was flat, like the other Europeans. He tried to go from Europe to the west, where the maps are no longer the maps of the world there. Where, it may are recognized as a sea cliff. But Columbus requested permission from the king at that time to go find an island inhabited by the people of India.

Was not until he see Indian civilization, Meet Columbus to the American continent which is inhabited by Indians. Here is the new world discovered, even the news of Columbus as the discoverer the American continent was spreading very fast.

From this discovery, the myth of the earth is round began to spread. A new world for colonialism.

Short story at above, is a brief overview from how the ancients proves that the world is round. But over time, all began to shift. Progression in various fields, of the economy, infrastructure development, transpostasi, technology, etc, was very rapid at all. Imagine the millions of dollars implanted around the world for installing broadband network (broadband), marine cables underground, and so forth.

At the same time, the computer device are getting cheaper and spread throughout the world. Software development such as email, search engine (Google, Yahoo), make it even eaiser the to interact simultaneously. They can talk about business, acquainted, and so on.



If the first, about 500 years ago Columbus should sailed, with ships and a compass, as well as risking his life to break the deadlock from the missing maps. Currently only with Internet technology we can see what the American continent, and with satellite technology (Google Maps)
we can immediately see the rest of the world that we never visit. In theory and educational sciences, is true if the earth is round. But on our computer with screens are flat, Earth was no longer round, like the original form. Earth as a flat when we can shop online, in countries that we had never visit. We can know their culture via website / blog. We can do business simultaneously, without limit of time and place. So in essence the earth is round, but in this era as if wanted to open our eyes with the network and the more advanced technologies, World no longer round but flat!
